Neither of us know what we're looking forward to more, getting married or the honeymoon! We both wanted something special, a holiday that in all likelyhood we're not going to have again for a long time. (Baring lottery wins).

So, we came up with The Maldives.

After hours of hard & painful ( ;o) ) searching through the brouchures, we had a short list. We then came up with the one we wanted - Lily beach resort.

In the deep blue sea of the Indian Ocean, among the scattered small Islands known as the Garland of Flowers (Maldive Islands) of indescribable nature, Lily Beach Resort is the island - Huvahendhoo at the South East Ari-Atoll.

We've staying for 2 weeks in a water bungalow which are on stilts in the lagoon surrounding the island.

One slight downside is that their rainy season ends in July, so the time we're there, we will probably see a cloud or three! But who cares! Even if it rains, its warm rain and you can just go and have a swim instead anyway - you're already wet so it won't make a difference! ;o)

The hotel apparently has internet access!! so we hopefully will be able to update the gallery with photos whilst we're still out there...
